L.L. Bean Signature Spring 2011

The L.L. Bean Signature Spring 2011 collection has arrived. The collection sticks to the L.L. Bean staples while throwing in a few fresher items:

The first item that sticks out is the timeless Trench ($185), although not brand new, the just above mid-thigh cut, all button front and storm flap collar make this a perfect choice for the rainy spring days ahead.

The Whaler Rib Cardigan ($169) challenges the J.Crew's Marled Shawl ($98) and Toggle Shawl ($138) cardigans for the best I've seen recently.

The Hunter's Buffalo Plaid ($69) shirts are here for another season along with the standard oxfords and madras. Yet what has stood out most to me about the Signature Collection from day one is the footwear and this spring brings an updated color (navy) to the Waxed Canvas Maine Hunting Shoe ($129) along with a personal fave; Crepe Sole Moc Boot ($179).
