Chalk this up as a bargain. The Opinel Pocketknife ($12) features a carbon steel folding blade and varnised beechwood handle. Little known fact: Carbon blades cut better and sharpen easier than stainless steel blades. Also, Opinel is also one of the oldest pocketknife makers still around today and continues to turn out great affordable knives such as this.
