Away We Go

Here at the 21, I had a chance to view a screening of the indie-film Away We Go (directed by Sam Mendes) earlier this week before it's national release today. We went into the theater not expecting much and walked out wondering if we had just witnessed the indie sleeper of the year. TV regulars John Krasinski (The Office) and Maya Rudolph (SNL) make strong big screen debuts in a brilliantly shot production. Away We Go's humor comes off somewhat dark yet realistic making for what we like to call a dramatic-comedy. Confusing genre aside, Away We Go is certainly worth checking out...even in theaters.
