MiFi

Verizon Wireless released the highly anticipated MiFi ($100, w/ 2 yr. agreement) yesterday. If you haven't heard yet the MiFi is a portable wireless router which will allow up to 5 users the ability to connect to a 3G data network from anywhere. Similar in size to that of a credit card, the MiFi will connect different devices (netbooks, cameras, ipods, PSP, etc.) at the same time. One full charge will give the MiFi forty hours of standby and up to four hours of active use. The monthly subscription looks like it'll be $60.
